The 6-Step System for a Results-Driven Business

Whether you’re a small Mom-and-Pop store, a medium-sized business, or a new startup, you want to take your company to the next level. The problem is often the focus is on the wrong track. It’s not working because managers, business owners, and entrepreneurs haven’t followed the order of operations. When you do something out of order, you get the wrong results or none at all.

The Right Order

Many people promote a product or service because they want to, not because it provides results for people. The focus is on what they want, not the customer. A change of focus must occur for true success to be accomplished and sustained.

  • Step 1: Find an area of business you’re passionate about, but keep it general.
  • Step 2: Discover how to produce results for people. If you focus on producing results, it’s easy to be successful in business.
  • Step 3: Work on becoming even more passionate about this career path you’ve chosen
  • Step 4: Figure out how to make money. Making money is easy when you’re producing results people want.
  • Step 5: Deliver massive results for a few clients.
  • Step 6: Start telling the success stories to everyone you meet, and watch the leads and sales roll in.

It doesn’t start out easy, because it takes a while to get people to believe. But once you’ve had success with one or two clients, it becomes much easier to get others on board with what you’re doing.

Focus on the Results

The key to success is the part of the equation which focuses on results. However, these results have to be what your client or customer wants, not what results you want to provide. To get to that point, you have to ask your customer what they’re looking for. Many times, they don’t really know. So, it becomes a process of discovery. You’re getting to know your client and they’re discovering what they really want out of your service.

Sometimes, the problem is that people don’t recognize what exactly are the results because they get too caught up in the process. Take the example of SEO for businesses. Many business owners worry about ranking well in Google or getting so many clicks. They even worry about how many leads or the number of customers they get. Instead, their bottom line – the result they are looking for – is: how much money are they making?

Rather than being proud of ranking on page one of a Google search, it’s far better to be impressed with the increase in profit for the business. It comes down to what results the client is looking for and how you can provide it.

Results Mean More Money

You don’t have to worry about making money if you have a product or service that gets results. Not just any results, but something that revolutionizes the industry. Once people see you’re capable of getting results, they will be lined up outside your door.

If you have the best product on the market or provide the most outstanding service, you won’t have difficulty making money. Of course, you can’t stand still if you want long-term success. You must constantly be innovating and looking for new ways to get results.

Just look at what Apple does. It has been well-known and loved by loyal fans of the iPhone for years. But the company didn’t sit back because it was on top. Wearable devices have come to the forefront of technology recently, and Apple is figuring out how to do it better. A report by Consumer Reports shows the Apple Watch rated highest amongst smartwatches for durability, ease of use, and other criteria.

Of course, the focus is on results, which showcase how Apple’s strategy pays off. In its first quarter on the market, Apple debuted at number two in the wearables market. It captured 20% of the market right from the beginning.

What this shows business owners and entrepreneurs everywhere is that if you take the time to figure out what results your customer wants and build a better product to achieve those results, you’ll make money and be successful.

You have to peel back the layers of your startup or your company and get back to the basics. You have to discover what your target client or customer wants and then figure out how to give it to them – and do it better than anyone else. Once you have this task completed, you have developed the core focus for your business. You won’t have to worry about marketing because people will come to you. Your brand will be recognized and respected without you having to try to figure out how to appeal to the right people. That is the key to creating a business with long-term success potential.
